The Quiet of December

I haven't been blogging much or finding time to visit others, life has a tendency to get in the way doesn't it?  Blogdom seems to be a little quieter this month so others must not be on their computers as much either. Rather than take a break why don't I just share what I've been photographing without adding a lot of text?
Continuing the classes for still life photos I played around some more this week.
A few of the Christmas cards I made and mailed this year.
Wishing everyone the spirit of Christmas in their heart and home.
Linking with Mosaic Monday.

  1. Good afternoon, sweet Judith! Ah, such a busy time of the year, isn't it. I shall be taking a break from blogging in a week so that I can simply enjoy time with my family....and time in the kitchen baking with my son.

Your photos are beautiful and I especially like the one in the sepia tone. Also, your handmade cards are gorgeous! You do such lovely work. Hugs to you!

I often admire those little images you insert between the photos and text, so pretty Christmas lights today! Do you make them by yourself or do you find them on the Internet?
Wishing you peaceful and happy Advent days! xx

  12. Your cards are beautiful. And I like your still life--a nice backdrop to the vignettes. I love seeing my favorite Holly Hobby (is that right? Since Hobby Lobby came into being I'm confused about her name! LOL!)) Anyway, her sweet presence goes back many decades! I hope you enjoy all your activities this wonderful season. We're busy but not too busy so I like that.

  14. It is a busy time, so I am glad that I am not the only one lagging behind. Tomorrow Santa comes for special pre Christmas visit with the little ones, so I have been busy getting ready. We have snow today. Light, fluffy, softly drifting down, but not piling up yet. We all should have good stories to tell after the dirt of the year.
