Five on Friday, Shimmer and Sparkle

It's looking like Christmas inside, and out.
The wreath at our front door.
Elf lights shimmer on the front entrance and lavender plants.
A Christmas bouquet received from our daughter and family.
Sparkle and snowflakes for a Christmas luncheon a few years ago.
Relaxing with a friend for tea yesterday.

  1. Absolutely stunning. We had a single poinsettia for our 'decorations' this year in Greece and I just planted it outside yesterday as we leave tomorrow for Cairo. Have a Merry Christmas, Judith, I know you will be surrounded with beauty!

  3. Christmas trees always get the glory, but the wreaths and center pieces deserve attention, too. The set table is beautiful as well; the cardinal place is perfect amongst the snowflakes. Have a lovely weekend.

I've been seeing those type of lights but didn't know they were called 'elf lights'--fun stuff.

  14. Love the beautiful purple wreath and tea settings, Judith!

So THAT'S what those new lights are called! I thought that they were sheets of lights hanging from the houses. Clearly, I don't get out much. Ha!

I'm still not sure how to fix the 'no-reply blogger' thing. Is it just a matter of clicking the 'notify me' box? If so, I sometimes forget.

  20. I've seen some of those lights advertised on TV and around our neighborhood. They really are fun and certainly a lot easier than putting lights on the house each year. I love your wreath!
