Mosaic Monday #52 A Splendid Vacation

We had a splendid vacation with family in Grand Bend (Ontario) spending days at the beach on Lake Huron, fires at night to roast marshmallows and make yummy s'mores.
The sunsets were breath taking!
Our three youngest grandchildren had a blast at the beach.
Around the fire at night.
I even found a street with my name.
Here we are in August already and I know it's been a hot summer for some folks while others have had lots of rain and cooler temperatures.
How has your summer been? Have you had a vacation or at least a staycation? A few bloggers are taking a break for the rest of summer but for those dedicated to creating their mosaics, welcome back!

Glad to see that you had a fun family vacation at Grand Bend. I'm becoming more of a homebody as I get older because now I prefer staycations or local vacations to overseas trips!

  15. Family vacations are treasures we should cherish. I too love days together with children and grandchildren. This year we don't go far, at least not abroad on vacation because my parents are in their nineties and in bad condition.

We have had so much on our plate, my surgery, we canceled for now and am trying Chiropractor treatments, then a huge tree fell on our home and we are under stress now getting it all resolved, what a mess. but thankful we are OK. Our vacay will be in Autumn~

  45. What a fun time you had with family Judith! It looks so nice by the water and I like the driftwood shelter. We had a little trip to Ontario and New Hampshire the past weekend but haven't travelled too far this summer....yet. I'm hoping for more nice weather to take a couple of day trips. We've had a mix of sun, heat, cool and rain. Enjoy the rest of August! Pam
