Tea on Thursday - Think Spring

We're a couple of weeks away to seeing green poking through the garden and that's when I'll be out with my camera to photo journal changes and progress.
I thought it would be fun to 'think spring' by looking back at some photos from past spring tea posts.
And some of the sugar cookies I've baked.
I need to decorate more sugar cubes which are cute to put out when company comes for tea.
We like pecan pie, I don't know many who don't! This week I tried the impossible pie recipe using Bisquick but neither hubby or I are sure if we liked it as well as the traditional. Has anyone else made this recipe, and do you prefer it to having a pastry crust? I meant to take a photo of the Bisquick pie but forgot.

Your teaware is lovely. I was so charmed by your beautiful teapot decorated with violets, and then I noticed you have a tulip teapot too! :)
I would like to taste all those delicious treats...

No, I've never tried the impossible pecan pie, but guess what I made today? The impossible quiche recipe that you gave to me! I'm going to have it for dinner tonight and share it next week for tea time.

  17. Judith, Your tables are all pretty. The first one is my favorite and I really like the teacup in the second picture. So pretty. Love your cookies and your decorated sugar cubes. We are just beginning to have some blooms - snowdrops, scilla, and crocus. Today there were two deer hanging around in the pasture behind us, and I discovered they have been eating in my garden - GRRR! They took the blooms off a nice patch of giant crocus, and they have been working on my tulips too (double GRRR). I got out and sprayed the remaining tulips with a rabbit and deer deterrent (garlic etc). I hadn't seen deer near our home for over year. I do like seeing them, but not in my garden!
