Celebrating in Pink for Tea

Blogging sister Sandi and host of Tea Time Tuesday has encouraged her friends that gather each week over tea to celebrate in pink all this month. Breast cancer has touched all of us in one way or another and as you will see from my tea table, I support fundraising for this worthy cause.
A pink rose bud tucked in behind my lapel pin...
and sprays of carpet roses still blooming. A breast cancer votive holder doubles as a vase.
One of my favourite fairies, Hope... for a cure.
My Lavender Rose teapot from Royal Albert has Heavenly Cream tea steeping in it.
The Sloane Tea Company packaged this blend in a pretty pink canister.
I prefer mixing and matching with crystal, the cream and sugar a gift from a friend's collection of Cornflower. The set sits on a Lavender Rose tray which was on sale at the Royal Doulton store at a very good price.
My one and only trio, Rose Bud from Maxwell Williams. I've baked my own biscotti many times but when I found a box of chocolate caramel crunch at Costco recently they somehow found their way into the cart. Dunking has to be done very quickly or the chocolate melts and makes a mess. But, oh are they decadent!
The fringed shawl sprawled across the table was one of the breast cancer products sold by Avon a few years ago.
Come and join the gathering as we celebrate in pink for tea.

  10. Your table looks lovely all in pinks. I was tempted to buy some biscotti today while we were in the Donini Chocolate store but resisted. I was in there for chocolate turkeys for our Thanksgiving table.

I love Cornflower crystal too but have none of it. The biscotti looks decadent indeed. Thank you so much for joining me for my Pink Tea and getting such an important message out. 21. A young Mom I knew died of breast cancer when she was in her thirties. The neighbour across the street when I was growing up also got cancer also when in her thirties. She has since died and now her daughter is fighting the same battle. Finding a cure is certainly a worthy cause!
