Colours of Autumn Tea

The colours of autumn gathered on my walk this morning with the dog.
I've been looking for a teacup with an autumn pattern and happened to find two at the antique store recently. An Adderly with no pattern name but a pleasant ruffled border on cup and saucer.
Again no pattern name and this one from Royal Vale.
The two teacups will be nice to pull out when a friend drops by for tea. The bouquet of peach carnations is a little tall on the table for it usually sits on the kitchen counter.
I liked the light peach to complement the colours of the season.
I found this tea trivet at Chapters and also picked up a tin of Harney and Sons Breakfast tea sachets which I'm finding is a good quality tea to sip.
A few of the treats I've enjoyed with my afternoon tea during the month of September.

And your treats mosaic just made me hungry, so I am off to find something to snack on. Most likely will not find anything like you have pictured..probably a dry piece of toast. HA!

  6. Love your leaf mosaic! Beautiful. And your new teacups are gorgeous! Fall wasn't too popular among china makers, was it? The carnations are lovely. My favorite flower...but most new varieties haven't much scent....and it's one I'm not allergic to. Rats! I like Harney Breakfast...very tasty & robust. Thanks so much for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

  7. Love your leaf mosaic, Judith, pretty colours! Your leafy teacups were a wonderful find. I like your peach carnations and they are a lovely shade for any season but especially Autumn. Now about your treats; you have been busy baking, haven't you? They all look fabulous but right now I would love a taste of your chocolate dessert with what looks like caramel sauce? Yum!! Thank you for joining me for tea and have a beautiful day.

    Blessings,

  13. The colors of fall are so beautiful as evidenced by your leaf mosaiac. Your new fall teacups are lovely too. I saw one in an antique store today, and debated about whether to get it, but walked away without it. It will probably nag at me until I return for it! ;-) ~ Phyllis

  18. Hi Judith,
Your autumn leaves are beautiful! I really like your autumn teacups, too, especially the Adderly. Harney and Sons have some great teas - and so does David's Tea - I recently ordered some of my favorite autumn blend: Pumpkin Chai. Your tea treats look great, Judith - especially that dark chocolate cheesecake or pie! Yum! Our weather has been in the 80s and today it is in the 60s. I enjoyed working in the garden today and the mosquitos were much less active!
    Hugs and blessings, Beth

  25. Hi Judith! Those leaves you gathered are lovely. You're a bit ahead of us for Fall, I've seen only a couple of yellow leaves so far--but it's coming soon! Both of your new cups are very pretty--especially the Adderly. Cute (and appropriate) trivet! I hope you have a great week :)

  28. Such pretty colors in you photos today. I love the natural beauty in the leaves that you gathered. Our leaves are very slowly turning. We will probably have wet weather destroying the leaves before they finally turn. On another note, I missed Mosaic Monday. My blog mind must be on a break. Have a good day, Judith.
