June Photo Challenge - Stormy Weather

The photo challenge for this month is stormy weather, something many of us are experiencing of late with lots of rain.
I have only a couple of photos to share and the first is of ominous storm clouds moving in. They sure are wispy looking when viewed in large size on the screen.
The only tweaking I did was to slide the 'definition' tab over in my iPhoto editing.
Seen here through the kitchen window is a snow storm from this past winter. Perhaps not as clear and enjoyable as the clouds but gives acclaim to the term 'snowing like the dickens'.
Thank you to Donna at Cottage Days and Journeys for hosting the monthly photo challenge. You can visit the other participants here.

  3. These are great choices Judith. The clouds look pretty ominous and of course, the snow is just not nice most of the winter. :) I hope you have a storm free weekend! We know there won't be snow. :)

  6. I had lots of snow pictures from this past winter as well. I just could not bring myself to look at them again. It is summer here and I am loving it! If I never saw snow again I would be ok with that.

Thanks for taking a chance on posting a snow picture!

  10. Both are great storm pictures...both the shot of the ominous clouds, and the one of the snow storm (that's making me cold just looking at it)!

  11. Wonderful photography Judith!
I don't know how I would cope with a snow storm as where I live it doesn't get cold enough for snow in winter - thank goodness as my bones get older!!!

I must get a wriggle on and put my post up....

    Have a happy weekend!
