Tea with Tallulah

Welcome friends for tea this week. Let me introduce you to Tallulah, an exclusive 2014 figurine named after Michael Doulton's first grandchild. You can see why I fell in love with this pretty girl in a garden bonnet and sipping a cup of tea.
Michael was at our Royal Doulton store signing Tallulah and other figurines purchased.
The details from the yellow rose in the ribbon of the hat to the white gloves is exquisite.
Tallulah is special to me for she reminds me of my own granddaughters with whom I've had tea.
A savoury treat with tea this afternoon; a scone with aged cheddar cheese and a few grapes.
The teacup today is a Colclough decorated with blue bachelor buttons, perfect for tea with Tallulah.

Tallulah is lovely, Judith. How nice to have one personally signed by MD himself! I have one which was my mother's and I have shared her several times on my blog.
Your scones look wonderful and the teacup is very pretty. Lovely to have you for Tea Time and yes, I will share my ginger muffin recipe later this week. Have a beautiful day.

Blessings,
Sandi

She is a true beauty, Judith! And the fact she is signed by the artist is beyond neat.

You know our cruise ship may have taken us to that port - I have gone to that store a few times, maybe? Is it in St. John's NB??

Thank you so much for sharing this. I have a real love for Royal Doulton figurines, that I shared with (got from) my late mother. When my grandmother passed away and left my Mom a little money, Mom bought me Alexandra to remember my grandmother by. Alexandra is watering flowers, and flower gardening was something my Grandma and I shared.

Oh Judith, I think you are leading me astray... Your Royal Doulton figurine, Tallulah, is exquisite! My favorite color is light blue, and the color of my living room. I think I'm going to have to investigate purchasing Tallulah! Thanks for the heads-up. How nice that you got an autographed figurine.

I think you have a beauty! I love that name. I believe that was the name of the gal in "A Big Fat Greek Wedding" and that was the only time I had ever heard it. This figurine is really beautiful and I love it that you got to meet him personally!

Oh. My. Goodness. So glad I'm catching up on all the posts from when I was away, as I would hate to have missed this one. Such a stunning figurine, and having it signed by Michael Doulton himself? Oh. My. Goodness.
