Note Cards for May

The weeks have flown by and here we are at Vee's Note Card Party once again for the third Wednesday of the month. Where does the time go?
I've been to a fairy garden party, constructed a new fairy garden this week under our apple tree and I'm preparing a presentation on fairy gardening for July. Fairies everywhere, including my cards this month!
A couple of girls intrigued by a bird in the hand and a bunny passing by.
The first fairy garden I ever constructed many moons ago.
What would a garden be without a lavender fairy? I can't count the number of times raccoons have been up on the waterfall and knocked this one over - good thing she's metal.
Part of the fairy garden I just finished. Hubby bought me the door when we were on a garden tour last year.
Although these note cards might not be suitable for any guys, they could be sent to little girls and grandmas like me.
Vee would love you to join us for the Note Card Party, but please read her rules for how many photos are allowed. One to three note cards and a box top if you wish.
I'm not sure how other participants feel about watermarking their photos but just last week I found someone had lifted one of my photos from the sidebar to pass off as their own. (I've since watermarked it too)

  1. 1, Lovely cards!

    2. I am thinking it would be fun to give the party a try.

    3. I am amazed that someone would take your card and claim it. It is smart to be watermarking your work.

  2. Very Lovely, I adore Fairies too... and something or another is always in my Garden as well knocking things over... I get upset because they broke my newest little fairy I had to glue her poor little leg on.. and later a wing.. So I have completely moved her across the Garden near the back door and so far she has been safe.. Good luck with love Janice

  7. Fairies everywhere how special. I have the little people flitting about my sewing space and I know they hide in my garden so your note cards are perfect for me. How disappointing that someone feels they cannot rely on their own talent but must steal yours. :-(

  8. Lovely fairy notecards which any little or big girl would love to receive.
I have had problems with others taking my images and claiming them. I now put the © in the middle as I found when it was on the edge they cropped it off and then reposted in on another crafting site as theirs. I just don't know how people have the audacity to do that, but they do.

  9. These are really lovely Judith and are perfect for fairy lovers and gardeners. This time I didn't watermark my photos so we'll see what happens. I always watermark them for my other blogposts though.

  10. I love fairies and fairy gardens so send me a set of these! ;) Of course you would have a purple fairy. I'm sure the fairies appreciate the new door. To watermark or not to watermark. I don't. I figure I decided to share in the wide wide world of the internet and by making that decision ... well -- if someone uses one of my photographs ... shame on them. Most of my "work" is for my pleasure. Anything I might sell I don't share!

  14. I'm wondering how you found out that someone lifted one of your pics. It's a good idea to watermark them. I like your theme notecards.

  22. Hi Judith,
I am a big time fairy nutter. In fact, my real life garden fairies who cared for my garden a few years ago when I could not inspired a fundraiser for breast cancer research. Since then, Pink Days In Bloom signature garden fairies attend garden-inspired events. And, everyone adores them! The fairies love it, too! Countless smiles appear whenever the fairies are near. Love your post!

  30. I love all the sweet fairy images, and especially the fairy door your DH got for you.

And I finally taught myself to do watermarks on my photos as well, since, like you, I've had images lifted and do not like it one bit. I'll share freely, but I do hate to be ripped off and not credited for my work!
