Saturday's Critters

It's time for Saturday's Critters again hosted by Eileen at Viewing Nature with Eileen.
I love this photo of the chipmunk on our deck quietly eating a peanut and looking over the yard.
Always on the alert, my movement at the window made him wary.
Any critters you want to share?  Be sure to link your post to Eileen's blog and join the fun.

  2. Nothing like a cup of tea and checking out the swinging scene.
We had a completely tame one in the cottage in VT. It used to climb up my father-in-law's leg to fetch a peanut from his pocket.
Living in Australia I really miss them.

  7. Chipmunks are hard to photograph, they are so jittery!
Regarding my mottled duck - I've no idea whether it is a male or female. It lives in Southampton and seems to be a one of a kind!

  22. I adore chippies and we rarely see them in this garden. It is less protected in some respects and less wooded so they stay hidden. We found one in the garage once...silly guy!

  23. I don't mind the little chippers about the garden and collecting the bird seed, boy they eat a lot or collect a lot. I don't think we will see one in all this snow we got yesterday. Cute
