Wordless Wednesday - Rooftop Gardening

I like the concept of Wordless Wednesday - share a special photo, or one with meaning without a lot of text for visitors to read.
However, how do you feel about the wordless part?  Should the comments remain open, or closed to make the post entirely wordless?
Note: some bloggers link to a WW party, I prefer to share alone at this time for this world wide meme.

  3. It would not be a one-sided conversation if you allowed comments as your photo is worth a thousand words and says a lot. I would miss commenting on this adorable photo! But I'm curious as to the story behind it, but maybe with such a meme we're just supposed to create our own story about it!

  4. I've often wondered how this meme got started and if there was a link up but I guess there isn't and one just posts a photo and calls it Wordless Wednesday. I like to be able to comment if I enjoy the photo. Speaking of which, this is a cute dog house with the roof top garden. :)

  7. I haven't heard of Wordless Wednesdays before... and since my posts are usually 'wordy' there won't be any Wordless Wednesdays on my blog! ;-)

  8. I have always had a bit of a problem with the wordless part, per my post today. So I am forging a new path for myself and sticking with the Wed. schedule. And comments are a good thing in my book!

  10. OMG Judith …I would not enjoy the lack of verbally communication as that is what binds us all to gather on the blog …"words"… however a lovely picture to comments or dream on might be though provocative..sometimes a picture is worth a thousand word..This is just my two cents worth…Hugs

  18. Adorable! The library in Des Moines is a green roof. You can climb up the stairs in a nearby building and look down upon it. Very cool. Would love to show it to you!

  20. I love the doghouse roof garden...so cool. I always wonder if I should comment on WW posts. I don't do the meme, but it would probably be good for me...teach me not to talk so much. ;)). I like your new blog design.
