Colour and Sparkle for Christmas

Every year I look forward to the local Garden Gallery Christmas Open House.  It's inspiring with hours of preparation in decorating to entice the shoppers.  A band plays Christmas carols, ladies stroll through the crowd with trays of appetizers and each invited guest receives two tickets for a glass of wine as they enter.  One more gift at the check-out, 20% off all purchases!  I hope you enjoy a snippet of this year's decorations.  For the full effect, please click on each mosaic to enlarge.
I'm linking with Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday.

  1. Beautiful Judith! I always enjoy going to the town of Warm Springs just 28 miles from me. It is always decked out for Christmas by the weekend before Thanksgiving, with Caorlers singing on the sidwalks, Candles lit along the sidwalks and there's such a good atmosphere in the air.

  3. It is nice seeing all the specialty stores decked out with their Christmas ornaments. I love the cute elfs in your photos, they would look on my tree. It does put me into the festive mood. Have a happy Sunday and week ahead!

  4. Oh, boy! I would have loved to see this. I really like seeing all the decorations and possibilities for some glitter and bling for the holidays. I noticed my village had wrapped some trees in lights (already) ... I'm really enjoying the glittering lights in the early, dark evening. Bring it on! :) Lovely post!

  5. Wonderful photos and collages. I love going to events like this although they are rare here but I guess going to shop in the stores looks the same or similar. I'm getting excited to decorate now as it's snowing a bit here this afternoon. Have a great week Judith!

  9. Judith,

All your mosaics are sparkly and bright and joyous! Because I have been collecting Santas and snowmen for ages, my favourite among all the frosty features, is the first mosaic!

The open house sounds absolutely wonderful, with all the added flair of live music, treats and price cuts!

    Have a lovely week!

  17. Such fun photos. I am beginning to think about Christmas. I have always worked and been so stressed out about getting ready because I always had grades to turn is before I could really think about decorating, so this is the first year that I can really go all out. Our little college student graduates Dec. 14 and I will have her party so I want the house all decorated. You are indeed helping me get in the mood.
