Born of Persuasion Book Launch Day 21

Jessica Dotta, author of the soon-to-be-released historical novel "Born of Persuasion," is launching her new book with a special month of giveaways on Facebook.  Go here to her FB page to see what can be, and has been, won each day for the month of August.
Week 3 is "Dressing for Tea" and I've dressed up a few times myself for the occasion.  Here at a high tea hosted by a garden club.
This photo was taken of me in our tea house that is beside the backyard pond.
Normally I just put on a pretty dress, my pearls and leave the hat at home.
Day 21
I'm hosting day 21 and if you click on Day 21 above, it will take you to the FB page of Vintiques Handmade to enter to win some beautiful jewelry for your next dress up tea outing.
Everyone has a chance to win this teacup painting by Wanda Wright, so go here to the Born of Persuasion FB page to enter.

  6. You are beautiful, Judith--with or without your hat. Here, for tea we must go to a tea house and there is one close by, but not with the formality that really makes tea time Tea Time. We yanks just don't have the custom.

  8. Judith, I'm going on Amazon and put my order in for that book. Sounds like a read I would enjoy. You look so pretty in your tea-taking finery. You remind me of one of my best girl friends with your pretty red hair. My daughter keeps telling me to join FB but I haven't yet, but that teacup painting is so pretty..Happy Wednesday..Judy
