June's Note Card Party

Next to roses, I would think peonies are the favourite perennial of gardeners who like a fragrant, romantic looking flower.  For Vee's Note Card Party this month, I'm showing four ways peonies have been shared on my blog.
Won't you join us for the monthly Note Card Party?  The button is on the right sidebar.

  1. Your peonies are gorgeous and my first reaction was "wow" to the yellow one-enjoy:@)

  2. Oh that's a nice way to feature peonies...floating in a bird bath. You have quite a lovely variety of them. My aunt and I once spent a few hours taking photos of all sorts of different peonies. It was amazing. Unfortunately, my photography wasn't up to snuff.

  4. Yes I do assume we forget a lot in all the blog visiting and posting we do, but I'm sure there are some that would remember! These notecards are so pretty -- I like the way you have framed them, making them quite artistic.

  5. Your photos are beautifully framed and the shots themselves are full of wows. These are GORGEOUS notecards, Judith. I am just amazed at all of the varieties available now. Peonies aren't just your old fashioned flower that went to the cemetary on Memorial Day anymore. They're much more!

  13. Yes, these are great. The birdbath is a sure winner. I would love any of these. BTW finally got some lavender planted in pots on my deck, into the ground soon.

  17. Hi Judith, since my gardening disaster this year I have decided that come fall I am loading my yard with peonies. Funnily enough, our local Agway just had a huge sale on rose bushes to the tune of buy one get one half off... my hubs felt so bad that I lost all of my new plants he bought me 8 gorgeous new rose bushes plus a cute hanging plant. I now have 5 double bloom yellow roses, one white, one apricot that ages to pink and one white tinged with bits of pink! It smells heavenly all around the house now! :D

  21. Oh, they're so pretty! I have been fascinated by peonies at several blogs that I read this year...I am considering growing some myself.

  23. Love these cards especially the flowers floating in the water

  24. So agree that peonies are a close second to roses with many gardeners. I think the full, lush blossoms are what I like best about them -- somehow they strike me as more "feminine" than other, more angular flowers!
