Friday's Favourite - Fairytale Campanula

The new Purple Get Mee Campanula from Fairytale Flowers that is long blooming like an annual and remains in a nice clump.
The display at an event that was breathtaking.
Look at this colour combination!
It pairs well with lavender in a container.
The PC® Campanula Purple Get is exclusive to President's Choice in Canada and is featured in the new Insider's Report starting on May 10.
Plant samples are given to garden writers to review and I give this one a 10.
I'm linking up with Tracie at Fishtail Cottage for her Garden Party.

  1. That looks lovely. I love all of the little "bell looking" flowers and things that go upward like Tasha Tudor had! Foxgloves, hollyhocks and would I ever love bells of Ireland but have never had!

  2. Good Afternoon Judith, I love Campanulas for their beautiful colour and their compact habit. Do you by any chance know if this new version is available in England as well. I think I need to make a trip to my local garden centre for this little beauty. Thank you for the recommendation.
    Best Wishes

  3. Really gorgeous! One problem I've had with campanulas in my gardens is that they tend to be invasive. They surely are beautiful though.
    Happy wknd!

  5. This was a big favourite display of mine as well. I hope it does everything they say it does. Campanula have never lasted for more than a few years in my garden. I love them though and so I keep planting them.

  9. This is a real beauty Judith. I used to have campanula in my garden years ago but it didn't over winter one year. I should find some this year. Enjoy the weekend. Pam

  17. Oh my! this is gorgeous! I will have to check if it will thrive in my zone. I have heard of Campanula but I don't recall seeing it in my area. Thank you for introducing me to such a beautiful specimen.

  19. Dear Lavender Cottage, is the same campanula shown in all three photos? I do like the lime green combined with it in the third photo.

Thanks for your comments on Spring do's and don'ts. I was wondering if you'd share some names of the annuals you plant out in early May. I see you reside in Ontario. What planting zone are you in?

  22. I wonder if these are the same as the Canterbury Bells/cup-and-saucer vine I've seen around here. Actually, I've purchased the seeds several times and grew them to the small plant stage, but never got them to bloom. I think the August heat of Georgia does everything in. These are lovely, and how fun that you are first to get to test new things!

P.S. Yes, I'm headed to connect with you on FB, too!
