Sunlit Centrepiece

Sunlight streaming through the dining room window has illuminated the vintage centrepiece on the table.  Silk roses and ribbons are set in a removable glass bowl whereupon a similar bowl with lighter summer colours can be exchanged in spring.  The candle holders have been modified to hold tea lights, a safer source of ambience.  Not wanting a pretty silver tray to linger under wraps in the buffet, it has an important role in adding some shine and reflection to the table.
I'm linking with Karen at My Little Home and Garden for Sunlit Sunday.

  8. Good Morning, Judith

I can see how the tray is reflecting the sunlight, it makes a very nice base for the floral arrangement.

I have some silver things that were my mother's and remind myself that it is important to use them.

Thank you for bringing your centrepiece to "Sunlit Sunday".

  11. Good Afternoon Judith, How beautiful your centre piece looks. You have reminded us to use pieces which are normally tucked away in cupboards, such as silver pieces, we must take them out and enjoy them as you have.
    Have a lovely Sunday,
    Best Wishes

  25. Makes me want to get my silver trays out and polish. That is what I love about blogging. I have a tendency to put nice things up and forget them. What fun to scramble around and come up with something forgotten. Have a get week.
