Define a Few

The weatherman predicted a few snow flurries overnight for us.  I'd like him to define a few!
It's still snowing heavily with big swirling flakes and walking the dog this morning, the snow on the sidewalk was over the top of my hot paw walking boots.
How's the weather in your little corner, did you get a few?

  1. Yes, I see that your weatherman is not to be trusted. =) Not yet, we're having a rainy day today with more rain predicted next week. Perhaps my weatherman is not to be trusted either.

  3. Forgot to tell you what our weather is like in my corner of France,it's sunny with blue sky, & the thermometer is reading 14 deg. but apparently not for long, getting colder by the middle of next week, must be your cold weather that's coming our way.

  4. Oh yuck! When I watched the weather network this morning I thought of you and wondered if you got that. Way too early for just a 'few' snow flurries! We're supposed to get a few snow flurries tomorrow. Hope it melts quickly. Have a nice weekend, Judith.

    Blessings,

  5. Well this just adds to your Christmas decor! You decorated and then the snow came! Bright and sunny here and no jackets needed on our walk yesterday but today ... it's dropped 10-20 degrees. Enjoyed your snow pics!

  6. Well I hope my few doesn't end up being like your few. We are getting barely even a few but they are there.

  7. It's just 0730 here, as I write. I was out with the dog not long ago, before the sunrise, and the air was thick with mist in the half-light. Yesterday was +10 with drizzle and today promises more of the same. I guess I just escaped the white stuff by heading home this week!

  8. Oh my, that is certainly more than a few. We didn't get any and the sun is shining today but the temperatures have dropped down. Is it the melting or sticking around kind of snow?

  9. Oh my goodness, Judith!

We have a little sprinkling that doesn't want to stick much but yours is heavenly for the weekend after Thanksgiving - waking up to snow definately got me motivated (that and a strong pot of coffee, haha) to get rid of the fall (I have entirely too much, truly and it is almost like Christmas to put away) and get out the holiday boxes.

    Ugh.

I may need a pot of tea, too.

Love your snow, thanks for sharing, milady!
    Hugs!

  10. It looks beautiful, Judith, but I imagine you would have preferred to wait awhile for the snow. We have no snow, but it's cold...brrrr! (22 F, or -5.5 C)
However, it was super windy yesterday and felt colder then than now. I have a little garden clean up task on my to-do list. We'll see if I can get motivated to get out there and do it. :-)
    Hugs and blessings, Beth

  11. Hi Judith,
That sure makes it look more like Christmas! I see you have your house all ready for the season.
It was 11 degrees here and rainy today but our weather man predicts a few flurries for us too so we shall see. I would love to get some snow.
    I enjoyed your snow pics.

    Take care,
    Carolyn

Nice to look at ... but I hope we don't see any for a while yet. Keep warm ... Hugs, C. (HHL)

  13. We only had snow flurries today. When I got up there was a little snow but it didn't last long. But as I said it flurried all day. It was cozy and warm here in the house though.

    Hugs,
    Janet

  14. Oh my, that is quite a few. It sure does look pretty. I've been decorating for Christmas these past few days and told my husband I would love it if it would start snowing now. I think it would help put me in the mood for the job at hand ;-).
Since I live in NC, the chances of that are slim. Guess I'll just have to enjoy yours.

  15. Very pretty, Judith, even if unexpected. Seems so early for snow but I guess it really is time. We have learned here to not rely on the weather forecast very much. Today is foggy but no snow ahead for us.

Wishing you a very cozy week!
