Fall Around the House

The house is taking on a look of fall with a few added touches.  During my wood crafting days I made a number of cute things, including an autumn wreath and harvest welcome to hang by the door.
From the moment I saw this black wire basket with the crow on top, I envisioned it with glittery pumpkins piled inside.  The basket sits on a wire table by the front door and sure enough, one Halloween someone pinched one of the pumpkins.
The front hall table has a bouquet of sunflowers and cattails.
 A little basket of pumpkins.
A small scarecrow with a crow by his shoulder.
A glass pumpkin with a battery operated tea light inside.
A turkey candle centrepiece for one table.
A wire pumpkin and pumpkin pie scented candle for another table.
An autumn swag I made from dried flowers and ribbon.
Wooden oak leaves and acorns that hang in my office.
I will be linking with Mosaic Monday and The Fall Nesting Party.

To my fellow Canadian bloggers,
Happy Thanksgiving!

  6. I forgot to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving! I wasn't thinking Thanksgiving yet since the US doesn't celebrate the holiday until next month. May your blessings be many! ~ Phyllis

  7. Sweet Thanksgiving and autumn things... Someone stole a pumpkin? (One of my readers asked if my front steps needed a pumpkin. It may, but I don't want to have to remember to haul it in every night so it won't be splattered all over my yard.) Wishing you a delightful holiday weekend and a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends.
