What's in Your Cabinet for Tea Time Tuesday

Welcome friends for tea.  Sandi at Rose Chintz Cottage is hosting another theme for our gathering this week called 'What's in Your Cabinet'.  It's a chance to feature a special collection and for me, that would be butterflies.  They've not come out of a cabinet but can be found in every room of the house.
Eight butterfly plates painted by Lena Liu sit on a plate rail in the living room and below them is a framed picture of a pink rose with monarch butterflies.
The front hallway has a collection of butterfly mirrors, three over this table, and one on the opposite wall.

A framed collection of butterflies that was a gift many years ago.
And a few other butterfly treasures I have collected.

For tea, we'll use mugs this week as each piece of my Butterfly Meadow china from Lennox has beautiful butterflies.
And it's only fitting that we have butterfly sugar cookies with our tea.
Please visit Rose Chintz Cottage for Tea Time Tuesday to see more collections as well as my other hosts and their guests.

  3. What a nice collection with a terrific variety, too. How I love a mug for my tea. I can't seem to get enough tea in a tea cup, though they are so pretty. I just want to hold a mug so my hands can warm and I can have plenty of tea. Do you have monarchs in your garden now? My neighbor is seeing them in hers, though I've not seen any.

It's beautiful whatever it is! And your collection of mirrored butterflies is lovely too. Thank you for sharing your beautiful butterfly collection with us today.
