Lazy Day at the Lake

Welcome friends for tea this week.   At the beginning of September when we were up north, a trip to the lakefront provided a lazy day in the sun.
 Lake Nippising
The water captured the sun like shimmering diamonds.
 Autumn colours in the flowerbeds.
The rose hips were the size of cherry tomatoes.
Here's a family having some fun on a bicycle built for 4.
The young grands went on the carousel while an older granddaughter...
laid on the beach and caught a few rays.
I hope you'll join me for tea and cookies while we visit my hosts and their guests for this week's gathering.

  9. Hi Judith, Love the shots of the pretty lake and the beach. It looks like you had a very good time, and had some tasty cookies! You inquired about the huckleberries. They don't really taste like blueberries although they look similar. Have a great week!
