Cool Weather, Perfect for Hot Tea

Welcome friends for tea this week.  It is going to be hectic for me with little time for blogging but I can at least visit from my iPad when I get a chance.  I was inspired by many bloggers last week who are pulling out their autumn decor to get my meagre collection out too.
The mornings have had a nip in the air and the temperature cool enough for a sweater.  Perfect weather to visit over a hot cup of tea.
Pumpkin nut bread (see the left sidebar under recipes) a cup of chai with a fall issue of Victoria to look through is a good way to relax before I'm off and running.  Horticultural events as usual and all volunteer hours.
Don't forget the giveaway draw for the two parasols is this Thursday at A Delightsome Life.  Kathy will be drawing the winners and there will be two, one for the ecru and one for the white parasol.  (not sure if we made that clear at the beginning)  Go here to Kathy's blog to see how to enter.
Please join my hosts and their guests for tea.

  15. Autumn is certainly my favorite season!!! and I've started organizing the tea pots and cups for the cooler weather that is making it's way to us.

The Urns will be getting a switch over from the colourful summer flowers (which are not giving up with the cooler evenings)to the vibrant oranges and reds.

Thank you for tea today ... Hmm.. pumpkin nut bread ..YUM!!!xo C. (HHL)

  16. Hi Judith,
Sounds like a perfect way to spend some time in the morning! Your sunny yellow teacup is so pretty and your pumpkin bread sounds so good! I just finished reading The Color of Tea. I couldn't put it down! Last night it got down to 48 degrees, so there's a nip in the air here too!

  17. Hi Judith, Your pumpkin bread sounds and looks fantastic. Love the yellow teacup too. Still hot here, but Thursday our temp will be nearly 30 degrees less than it was today and rain is predicted. I'm hoping that officially begins our fall weather! Have a great week!
