Tea and Treasures

Welcome friends for tea this week.  As many of you know, I recently won Celia's (High Heeled Life) giveaway for gardeners and I want to show you the package and contents that arrived.
Look at all these goodies that were in the box, and I was thrilled to see lavender gloves and...
this sachet and heart-shaped lavender soap.  A bonus as Celia knows how I love my lavender.
A hand written note in this beautiful card featuring the art of letter writing.  Thank you Celia, I love everything you sent.
Sometimes it's a small world and last month when I visited a tea room in Erin called Tintagels, Celia had just been there herself and featured it here.
There were lots of things for sale...
and for viewing.

My friend and I sipped cream earl grey tea and finished lunch with a couple of decadent desserts.

I'm linking with Rose Chintz Cottage for Tea Time Tuesday, Antiques and Teacups for Tuesday Cuppa Tea, Bernideen's Tea Blog for Tea in the Garden, A Delightsome Life for A Return to Loveliness and  The Dedicated House for Make it Pretty Monday.
I hope you'll visit my hosts and their guests for tea.

  3. I would love to visit that tea room with you...the desserts do look luscious! I also love your tea cup. This tea party blogging is fun, even though I can't participate fully...it is a pleasant interlude for me especially today. We are waiting out Tropical Storm "Debby" and had some wet floors to deal with at my place of employment...it was a rather stressful day. I'd rather be having tea with you and the other ladies! Some day!
Thank you again for the invitation to tea.

  7. What a lovely package to win from Celia! It suits you well. The tea shop would be fun to visit and the desserts look yummy. The first one reminds me of Sticky Date Pudding but it could be gingerbread too. Whatever it was, it was yummy, I'm certain. Enjoy your trip to your grandson's graduation and Congrats to him!

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  8. Such a lovely gift and such a pretty place for an outing. Although Victoria has a reputation for tea rooms, the truth is that there is little outside of town that would make an afternoon drive worthwhile in terms of finding tea!
