A Daffodil Tea

Welcome friends for tea this week.  Right now as the tulips are just starting to open, a couple of the local churches are having their annual tulip tea.  We still have daffodils blooming so I thought it would be nice to honour this bulb with a tea.
These daffodils are called 'Glenn White' and appropriately in the garden as this is my husband's name.  (with 2 N's)
This is 'Fragrant Rose' that has a small fragrant cup.
I like this tablecloth with the daffodils, perfect for a spring tea.
A lemon curd-filled coffee cake that is scrumptious.  I'd like to say I baked it, but it's store bought.
A few yellow teacups to match the colour scheme and there is 'Monk's Blend' brewing; a favourite that I used to have at the Princely Pear Tea Room when it was still open.
Thank you to my hosts for the weekly tea parties, I hope you'll visit them and their guests.

  18. My daffodils are just beginning to bloom. They are lovely. Daffodils makes you feel happy. Lemon Curd is so good in olka kakfyllningar. If you do not have time to do yourself, there's a good idea to buy at the store. I love your tea cups. Alert and happy with their bright yellow colors. Very suitable fabric for a testund with pÄsklijor as a theme. I wish you a wonderful weekend! Zinnia

  19. Hi Judith! I'm back and getting caught up. I LOVE your idea of a daffodil tea – the sweetest spring flower. I wasn't familiar with Glenn White but it's really lovely. I only know of Thalia and white Tete a Tete. We still have some narcissus blooming, too, which was lovely to come home to.

Will catch up more later in the week. I hope all is well. – g
