I Love Panera

Welcome friends for tea this week.  Last week we were in shorts and working in the garden, this week it's down to freezing with frost in the forecast.
In the States is a bakery/lunch place my daughter and I love called Panera Bread.  We've bought  loaves of bread that are moist and delicious, along with squares and cookies; generous in size and oh, so decadent.
My daughter bought me this Easter egg cookie when we were all in Florida which I had with my afternoon tea one day.
I found a cute mug to use and felt it was perfect for a tea with friends.

We will have a Panera Bread opening in a new shopping centre and I couldn't be happier!

  3. That cookie looks delicious! Unfortunately I've sworn off sugar for a little while, but it won't be forever! We have a place called Panera Bread, but it is a sandwich place. It's breads are phenomenal, I love to visit for lunch and have a turkey sandwich.

  12. Hi Judith! Darling cookie – I don't think I would have wanted to eat it. A Panera opened recently about five minutes from us. Ironically just near the gym that I attend. I have to resist going there all the time! (Panera, not the gym – don't have any choice about that. :) ) Hope your frost doesn't damage any plants. That is always such a worry. – g

  18. I do like Panera!
In the summer of 2010 I had a (temporary) job where I had to meet with people almost daily. Panera was my office. Sometimes, workers came around with samples of food for us to try.

  27. What a nice thing for her to do, bring you a cookie!

We take Little Miss to Panera for dinner after she has had a long hungry day at the hospital. It gives her something to look forward to.

I wonder if I can find her one of those beautiful cookies!

  31. I love your egg cookie. It looks divine and very edible. Often cookies are made with royal icing that is harder than a rock and takes the fun out of eating a delicious cookie. Your blog is just beautiful. I love the lavenders, purples and butterflies. I am often Lady Nann the Grandmother Fairy, and those colors are pure fairydom and I love it.

Thankyou for coming to my blog. I was thrilled that you liked my spring birthday parties. It means so much to me that you came and posted a comment. That was so kind and thoughtful of you! I am now following you.
