Knautia

I'm linking with Jenny Matlock for Alphabe-Thursday and I hope you'll visit her blog to see what the other students are sharing.
Our letter for this week is 'K' and with my chosen word, you don't hear the K.  If you 're not already familiar with Knautia (pronounced not-ee-ah) it's one of those see-through flowers to grow in your garden.  The flowers sit atop a long wiry stem which allows plants in the background to be seen.  My favourite variety is K. macedonia.
Seen here with a purple creeping perennial geranium called 'Rozanne'.
The bees give knautia a thumbs-up too.

  19. What an interesting 'K' flower and oh so pretty, too! There's nothing like the lovely landscape of spring. I'm eagerly looking forward to the splash of color again. The sway of little bloosom faces or dainty, soft tree buds in the breeze. Thanks for visiting yesterday!
