Flaunting our First Snow

I've been reading about bloggers getting snow across the country and this morning when I got up and looked out the window - a winter wonderland!
It's beautiful, and the dwarf crabapples look like little red jewels hanging on the tree.
The miniature apples and the seed heads from echinacea will feed the birds for a good part of winter.
I'm linking with Tootsie Time for Fertilizer Friday.

  1. Good morning, dear Judith! Oh, my, it really is beautiful! We had a sunny and warm day yesterday but this morning it's windy and dark with snow forecast for the mountains, fortunately not here. :)

    Wishing you a lovely weekend. – g

  2. The first snow is always so pretty! I love the crab apples photo. We had rain here but it has stopped and cooled down. Enjoy the weekend! Pamela

  3. Hi Judith: You got more snow than us. We had just a few flakes that did not linger. V

  4. Good morning Judith!
It is really beautiful!! I like to see the filigreed trees and the red fruits.
Your snowy time is more ahead than ours in Nara Japan.
Enjoy the weekend and the first snow!!!

  5. very pretty photos, it will be all too soon here in MN when we get the first dump I am sure. :)

  6. It's beautiful, Judith! The crabapples look so gorgeous under snow. Our snow is pretty much gone and it was 55 degrees today. Have a great weekend - hope it warms up for you, my dear friend!
    Blessings, Beth

  7. Thanks for sharing your snow! This is just the way I like it, not at my house! ;) But it sure is beautiful!

  8. So pretty! Nothing like the first snow and all is fresh and white! Have a good weekend!

  9. Looks like a Christmas card! Brrrrrrrr

  10. Beautiful photos!! I was shocked when saw cars travelling down our road with SNOW on them!! Looks like winter is reminding us .. it's on its way! Time to wrap things up in the gardens, before they are buried in blankets of white.
Though today looks promising the sun is shining, ..wishing a wonderful week-end, xo HHL

  11. The first snow is so welcome, so beautiful.
We have had terrible wind and rain here - trees down, ferries cancelled - but no snow. I'm ready for a little bit of the white stuff - but only for a day or two!

  12. Yes Judith - snow comes - we have had 3 and more coming tonight in the mountains|(maybe not here beside the mountains- we shall see) Your photos are lovely! Your blog is lovely!
