Friends Sharing a Halloween Tea

Saturday is when Bernideen has friends over to share tea.  With Halloween in a couple of days I looked for a black teacup and found one with some gold on it.  Old Royal 'Wetley Rose'
I brought a black lacquer vase with clay roses to the table;  the roses become fragrant after they're soaked in water.
A couple of Irish soda bread teapot cutouts and a few blackberries to have with tea.
While we're sipping and talking, I want to show you the magazine I just picked up from Chapters.
A special Christmas supplement was tucked in with it for reading on traditions and recipes.  With the interest many of us have in English decor and the art of afternoon tea, I highly recommend this magazine.
Make yourself a cup of tea and join us, Bernideen always sets a lovely tea table at her blog.

  5. I am usually drawn to black teacups for some reason. I have one that I just love that has large roses on the saucer and inside...gold trim and it is so regal. Enjoy your day!
