Tulips & Windmills

What do tulips and windmills have in common?
Why, Holland of course!  I have been asked to host a Viking river boat cruise to Holland and Belgium next spring August 1-12 with a fly out date of March 31.  The intent is for me to get together a fun group of gardeners to enjoy each other's company and see the sights.
Cruise a canal in a glass-topped boat, visit museums, a castle and gardens...Keukenhof for one and the icing on the cake - Floriade that only takes place every 10 years.
If you're interested, and this is open to everyone, all you have to do is email me from the 'contact me' button on my sidebar and I'll send you the flyer.  Registration is made through the cruise people and from what they tell me, the rooms are booking up - they've set a deadline of September 5.
Ever since I got involved I've had Tina Turner's song Proud Mary going around in my head..."rolling down the river".

  1. Hi Judith you've got some interesting things on your blog lately. Your luncheon with friends looks sooo delicious! I love the food pictures as well as the table scapes. And your trip to Holland sounds wonderful. I am part Dutch and love that country. Have been there several times but would go again if I could! The most recent trip I was able to ride a bike through the countryside past windmills and little villages ---like living in a dream!
