Kiss a Frog?

Do you think if I kissed this frog, he'd turn into a prince?
I'm so excited to have 10 frogs in the pond this year, we must be doing something right.

I have used this collection of frogs before, every one of them a cute little thing.  But, I'm not sure how I'm going to make mosaics with my new Mac computer - I found Picasa practically taking over my photos on the PC, Photoscape is not compatible and I didn't see much available in Picnik.
Any suggestions from Mac bloggers using something simple to make a mosaic?  I've been joining Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday for a long time and want to continue making fun collages.

  3. I thought you meant real frogs too and wondered how you had the exact count because our frogs are shy creatures and we never know how many there really are.

  5. Oh I certainly hope you figure something out for the mosaics because I always enjoy what you share. Big Huge Labs does have some good stuff if you don't mind jumping a few hoops. Congrats on the new Mac. You're the third blogger I know who has made the switch from a PC to a Mac. Let us know how it's going...

  10. Hi! I am a great fan of Mosaic Monday too. I am a Mac user and I have been using Picnik for my editing and making mosaics. It is very user friendly and for a small fee you can upgrade to the Premier edition. Hope that is helpful...if you stop by my blog, you can see some of the finished mosaics I have been able to do. :)

  11. Hi,
Sorry I don't have an answer to your Mac question. This is my third time to join in on Mosiac Mon. I really enjoy seeing everyones mosiacs. My 16 year old grandson just gave me a real frog for my water feature. Excited to have him, but afraid that he will scare me in the garden. Bound to happen sometime.

  13. Judith,

What a cute little frog friend! We had quite a few tadpoles in our pond this spring so there is no telling how many frogs we will end up with.

  14. What an interesting mosaic your froggy fellas make, that's quite a collection you have there!
I can't help with your vexing Mac/Mosaic query, I'm afraid.
Hope you get it sorted soon.

  16. Hello Judith,
don't kiss him, even if he would turn into a prince. No prince would ever look so nice on your pond and would life there without any problems. The little green fellow and his friends -if not too noisy- are a nice and easy addition to your pond.
    Best greetings and a smile,
    Johanna

  17. I use Picasa to make my mosaic and then take it to Picnik to add text and a frame. Sometimes I wish I had more choices, too! I love the frog photos...didn't I just see another frog mosaic? heehee! Isn't that funny when that happens! ♥
