Emma can Dance

I think it's acceptable to brag about the grands from time to time.  This weekend the family  attended 7 year old Emma's dance recital of hip hop, tap and modern ballet that had us tapping our toes the whole night.  What an extravaganza of costumes,  choreography and students dancing to the best of their ability.
The photos in my mosaic are from the dress rehearsal where Grandma could get close to the stage but unfortunately Emma didn't have on her sparkly makeup and earrings bling.
The background photo is from the ballet number called 'Fireflies'.

  7. Aren't the recitals wonderful? Just wait until you're watching her perform the the annual high school musical. My oldest granddaughter is 18 and has been dancing since she was 4. Her grace and beauty in dance never cease to amaze me. Well done, Emma! Caty

  10. Are you kidding me? It's always perfectly acceptable to brag about the grands! What a cutie and she looks as if she's really enjoying performing, too. I love dance recitals. They really have come a long way since I was a child ^&%#(& something years ago.

  20. Emma is adorable! You have every right to brag on her. Isn't it fun to go to the grands' dance recitals, sporting events, Christmas programs etc? It's less hectic when you're the grandma instead of the mom!
    Blessings, Beth
