A Butterfly Tea in the Garden

Welcome friends to Tea in the Garden Saturday.  We'd love to have you join us, the link is at Bernideen's Tea Time Blog, our host.
Anything with butterflies and fairies is special for me and this mug that was a gift is ideal for a butterfly tea in the garden.  I've set things up on my iron tea cart that is actually on the lower deck level.
We're having home made pecan pie on a Melamie plate that has butterflies too.
The Garden Bloom teapot by Studio Nova has pansies and butterflies and inside, green tea.
My friend Valerie over at Gardening in a Sandbox is a good photographer that likes to enhance photos with layers and settings.  When Val was here for a Valentine's tea in February, she took a photo of my teapot and had it framed.  It was my turn to host our 'Circle of Friends' tea this week which I'll post about for the upcoming Tea Time Tuesday and I received the photo as a hostess gift. Such a pretty picture to treasure.
Just to the side of the tea cart is a kind of baker's rack with dahlias.  They're not getting very big yet because they've had more rain than sun so far.  That's a metal Haws watering can on the bottom shelf.
At the bottom of the stairs growing up an arbour is the clematis 'The President'.
Thanks for dropping by and do see what's being served in the other gardens.

  2. Hi Judith,
I always think of you when I see butterflies, so your tea things are just right:-) I think Topaz must have good taste, because looking at your baked goodies always gives me a sweet tooth:-)
The girls would eat anything right now ( the book the chair), so yes they stayed inside a little portable crate I got them for when I garden, I am afraid of them and the pond till they get a little smarter and calmer:-) and they were not happy campers!
    Have a great weekend!
    Hugs,
    Bella

  9. Clematis is one of my favorite flowers. I had to leave a huge purple one behind the last time I moved.

    Love the butterflies!

  16. Lovely tea party, it must be a beautiful garden according to the photos. From time to time we also prepare tea for friends like this, but I prefer tea rooms. If you come to Toronto, try to check some of these places.
