Circle of Friends teacup exchange

Welcome to tea this week my friends.  Our Circle of Friends group of four had a teacup exchange after our luncheon last week.  First though, I'd like to show the fantastic teapot Jen used that was a gift from her husband.
I think you can see why I love it...look at the butterfly on top!
A better shot of the butterfly lid handle.
The teacup I received is a red chintz by Skye McGhie, what a pretty pattern and a handle big enough for two fingers.
Creating a Circle of Friends was an idea from Victoria magazine.  The four of us enjoy gardening and tea so we take turns each month hosting a luncheon and have great conversations over tea.
I'm linking with Sandi from Rose Chintz Cottage for her 70th Tea Time Tuesday and Kathy from A Delightsome Life  for A Return to Loveliness.

  3. Hi Judith,
What a handsome teapot and the butterfly makes it very appealing. Now, you must know, I love that tea cup! Love the red toile and the shape of it. I have the whole Florence tea set. Anything made by Skye McGhie usually gets my attention. You lucky ducky! I'm glad you were able to join me for tea this week what with all the Blogger problems we are having. Thanks for sharing with us.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  15. Hi Judith,
So nice to meet you and come to your tea. I just adore that teapot. The butterfly on the top just stills the show. I also love yourred chintz teacup and saucer. I have a red guestroom with some English transferware plates, so I enjoy seeing these treasures.

Your monthly luncheon is a grand idea. So enjoyed my visit. Today is my first time to participate in Tea Time Tuesday. It is so much fun especially since blogger is not glitching so bad. Hope this continues. LOL

    Have a wonderful day.
