Bluebirds for Tea

Welcome to tea today my friends.  In my funky doubled-walled brushed stainless steel teapot I've brewed some pomegranate raspberry green tea for us.
I'm using a blue cornflower pattern teacup from Colclough.

Since the gardening season is upon us, I've filled a miniature wheelbarrow with tiny spelt gingerbread hearts.
A small bouquet of flowers with the daffodils from the garden.....
and this cute girl with the bluebirds, sunflower and kitty at her feet.  I bought her about 20 years ago at a craft sale and she always sits on a shelf in the kitchen and never complains. Of course that could be because she doesn't have a mouth painted on, or a nose for that matter - well she's been without them this long, we'll just let her be.
A chubby bluebird has joined us that I picked up while shopping in Buffalo on the weekend.
I also bought this adorable birdhouse.
I was happy to find a tablecloth in the Butterfly Meadow pattern of my dishes from Lenox at Macy's and what a great sale they had on!
My hosts for today are Sandi from Rose Chintz Cottage with Tea Time Tuesday and Kathy from A Delightsome Life for A Return to Loveliness.  I hope you'll join us over a cup of tea to visit their blogs.

  13. Your picture of a cup of tea made me realize that is what I need. So now I'm sipping a cup of green tea with honey. Don't you love making little bouquets from your garden? As summer comes we will have more flowers for larger bouquets. Nancy
