A Tartan Evening

Saturday night we attended the annual Robbie Burns dinner and dance hosted by our local Royal Canadian Legion branch.  A well known Scottish poet, Burns was quite the man.  Entertainment and the piping in of the haggis was by the Innisfil Pipes and Drums.
That's my kilt and Scottish thistle pin shown and I have no idea if there really is a clan tartan of this pattern.  I choose it because of the pink and lavender colours.  :-)
Mosaic Monday is hosted by Mary at Little Red House, I hope you'll join the fun of making a collage too.

  19. I've always wanted to attend a Burns dinner but never scheduled my visits to Scotland during the winter. I imagine it was so much fun – I love tartan and all things Scottish – I nearly moved there once upon a time. :)
