Tea with Friends - Snowflake Time Again

My 'tea with friends' is hosted by Sandi from PEI at her Tea Time Tuesday party.
I hope you'll visit her beautiful blog Rose Chintz Cottage to join us.

This is the time of year when I pull out of storage all the snowflakes and snowmen to decorate the house.  They stay up until spring while the very few actual Christmas decorations get packed away on January 6.

A new snowflake I bought this year and what better way to welcome your friends to tea.
I didn't bake today but have a small bowl of.....

plump Medjool dates.  They're sweet and meaty, perfect for a little nibble.

I hope you have the time to brew yourself a pot of tea, (I'm drinking Princess Grey) sit down and visit with a few of us.

  3. Pretty new snowflake. I cannot buy the container of dates. If I have one I eat them all. Just like candy. So good.

  6. Love your Christmas doily and your last photo is beautifully staged and magazine-worthy! My aunt used to make date pudding (not the cake kind; it's actually a pudding and delicious). Your dates reminded me of that. Would love to sit and talk over a cup of tea.
