Friday's Favourite and Fertilizer Friday

One of my favourite shrubs growing in the garden is Berberis thunbergi 'Rose Glow'.  I love the pink colour of the foliage and at this time of year, the little berries are so sweet.

I'm flaunting this shrub for Fertilizer Friday at Tootsie Time.  Visit Tootsie to see more plants and shrubs in gardens.
I'm also wanted to share two interesting entries from our garden club flower show held this week.  The design is called 'Harmony' and it's a radiating pattern known as pave`.

  6. I adore the Rose Glow barberry, too, Judith. I have the Altropurpurea Nana, Japanese Dwarf, which is very similar but darker and obviously smaller. I have them in containers now but hope to plant them out this autumn. I saw an entire stepped pathway lined with them at Pashley Manor in England and it was so dramatic and beautiful. I haven't quite achieved that look yet! Have a terrific weekend. – g
