Tea with Friends and Victoria

Sometimes a simple tea can be as delightful as an elegant one.  Start with a tray...

The one I'm using today has a stained glass water lily made by a gardening associate.

Add a pretty cup and saucer,

a posy of fragrant flowers from the garden,

some French buttery biscuits topped with dark chocolate,

and a pot of hot tea.

Oh yes, and one more thing...... the latest copy of my favourite magazine 'Victoria'.

Sandi, who lives in the province of Prince Edward Island hosts tea each Tuesday for guests at her blog Rose Chintz Cottage.
Kathy, from A Delightsome Life has been celebrating Victoria magazine for several weeks now and I hope you'll visit both of these ladies for tea and an appreciation of this lovely magazine.

  1. This is a really nice post, Judith. I love that tea tray. Your teapot, cup, and flowers are really pretty too and those cookies look fabulous! Enjoy your tea!
    Blessings, Beth

  2. A wonderful way to have tea. The flower posy is so pretty. Take care and enjoy your tea.

  3. That cup of tea and its accompanying biscuits look like just the thing to revive flagging spirits at about 3 o'clock. I haven't seen the newest Victoria magazine - I'll have to have a look for it.
Your mosaic was lovely - that sky!......

  4. Good evening my friend,
Your tea is simply lovely and I love your tray! Those tea biscuits are really good; I think I served them last week. Beautiful flowers, and I presume they're from your garden? I took a quick peek at Victoria magazine and I'm looking forward to the Christmas issue already. Hope you have a wonderful week, Judith.

  5. Delightful teacup. Beautiful fresh green colour!
Beautiful bouquet! I will be looking for a Victoria magazine asap.
    Have a wonderful week.

  6. Oh my! That's a gorgeous tray! I love your teapot & tea cup too! They are doing such a wonderful job with the new Victorias! I so appreciate their efforts to revive what made her so great! Those cookies are some of my favorite treats too!
Thanks for joining me this week at A Return to Loveliness

  7. Now that's my idea of a relaxing tea! How beautiful you have it all set up and then sitting with Victoria, awe, it doesn't get any better!
    Happy Tea!
