Mosaic Monday - Fields of promise

Golden crops of canola and sunflowers that promise income for the farms in my area.  A field of viper's bugloss and one of Queen Anne's lace that  promise nectar for beneficial insects.
Thank you to Mary for hosting Mosaic Monday each week.  Visit her blog at Little Red House to see what others have put together.

  17. Hello Judith,

I love these colorful fields. Around my area we have a lot of yellow rapeseed fields. Very beautiful.

I´m planning on having a small bed of lavender in my garden in the future. I think they smell wonderful and look so pretty.

    Have a nice day,
    Sanna

  20. Farms on the Island are small, so we don't see the big blocks of colour that make up Ontario farmland in summertime. Beautiful photos - thanks for the reminder of Ontario!

  22. Judith, Your mosaic is beautiful! I once dug some Queen Anne's lace from a roadside and transplanted it to my garden. While beautiful, I found it to be invasive and ended up pulling it up. It is a lovely sight to behold a field of it, though, and it's pretty in a bouquet too. Hope all is well with you.
    Blessings, Beth
