Tea with Friends - Roses

I have some beautiful stationery with roses and butterflies that is perfect for sending out an invitation for tea.

My cup and saucer today is 'Rose Bud' from Maxwell Williams.  I found a boxed set of the cup and saucer and dessert plate in the discounted area of one of my favourite stores.

Empire cookies are a nice treat to have with tea.

The handles of my petite cup and saucer spoons have roses on them too.  They were a bonus gift from Reader's Digest years ago.

This is a pretty pattern and since there is only one setting, I've found another cup and saucer with roses for you.

From Paragon, the bottom of this set says 'Queen Mary'.  I hope you like it and the Earl Grey tea I've made.

Afternoon tea is a lovely time to spend with friends and I'm joing Sandi from Rose Chintz Cottage and Lady Katherine from Lady Katherine's Tea Parlor.  I hope you'll join us too.

  1. Gorgeous teacups and plate. Love the empire cookies - so very pretty. They look elegant and just right for a tea. Did you make them? I've never made anything quite that fancy. Thanks for the Earl Grey; it's one of my favorites!

  2. Judith, your teacups are just exquisite and the spoons as well! The Rose Bud pattern is a perfect match to my candle sticks that I shared in a post back in April. The cookies look delicious and of course, I do enjoy a cup of Earl Grey. What a lovely tea! Thank you so much for sharing and for joining me for Tea Time. I have you already linked up and I will be putting my post up shortly. Hope you're having a lovely week.

    Blessings,
    Sandi
