Mosaic Monday - Yard Art

I gave a presentation on 'The Accessorized Garden' last week for a horticultural society on the other side of the lake.  I've been collecting photos of statues and other objects of art in the garden for a few years to put this visual garden tour together and thought I'd show a few of them in my mosaic this week.
At the society meeting I sat with my friends Val (Gardening in a Sandbox) and Jen (Garden of Threads).  I also met Tina (EG Wow) allowing us to put a face to the name of our blogs.  We know some of the bloggers in the US get together for lunch and tossed this idea around ourselves; it could be an upcoming event.
Mary at Little Red House hosts our mosaics each week and you won't want to miss the fun.

  1. Love all the yard art or statues. I like adding critter statues. I am sure it has a name to for them but I like the rocks pile. The fairy is neat too. Wonderful mosaic!

  4. It would be so great to put faces to names and see if the faces are what we imagine them to be.

  9. Oh I love that fountain!!! I think that "accessories" can add so much to a garden -- give it a sense of scale and a bit of whimsy... Thanks for sharing your wonderful collection at MM. :)

  24. Lovely mosaic of garden art. I think every garden needs to have those little added features. It sounds like you had a lovely time getting together with other garden bloggers. I know we feel we know each other from visiting blogs, but meeting in person sure makes it more meaningful.

  29. We have bits and pieces to accessorize the garden at Pondside - I think it becomes more important for a garden that doesn't have the accessory of snow in the winter.
Meeting fellow bloggers can be a very pleasant experience, if my meetings are anything to go by!
