Cloud-walls of the morning's gray
Faced with amber column,
Crowned with crimson cupola
From a sunset solemn.
May-mists, for the casements, fetch,
Pale and glimmering,
With a sunbeam hid in each,
And a smell of spring.
- Elizabeth Barrett Browning-
I was one of those kids that loved to watch the clouds as they moved together and then drifted apart. It was fun to pick out faces or animals and determine if rain or a storm was coming from their appearance.
The bottom middle photo is one that fits the phrase 'angry clouds', and don't you just love the shades of pink that occur?
In the middle left is a sunset taken from a fishing boat when we visited PEI a few summers ago.
Please visit Mary, our host at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday and if you haven't made a mosaic yet, it's time to start as they are creative to make.
