Mosaic Monday - Froggies by a Pond

Here we are with another week gone by and that much closer to spring.  Like most gardeners in the summer I am busy snapping away when on a garden tour or visiting someone.
A couple of summers ago I was entertained with a group of garden writers at the homes of some really creative artisans.  The froggy bird bath in the top left was hand made by one and the leaping frogs on poles in the bottom right by another.
I so much wanted to buy one of the frogs on a pole but they were a little out of my pocketbook range and instead had to settle for a picture of them and they are so cute, don't you think?
The frog at the top right is Kermit sitting by our pond and should appear again this year once the ice melts in spring.
I hope you'll stop by the Little Red House to view more mosaics; Mary, our host is an accomplished photographer and always has something beautiful to see.

  2. I love all your froggy photos. The frogs on the sticks are so cute and unique. We have a couple of resident frogs in our pond, too. They get a little loud in the summer and we've relocated them a couple of times, but they always find us again within a couple of days! ha ha ha I do love seeing them in the pond at sunset though.

  4. Oh these are adorable, Judith! My daughter gave me a little frog sculpture for the garden -- mother and baby -- for mother's day one year, and it is one of my favorite gifts ever. :) Thanks for sharing at MM. :)

  13. I love your mosaic. I am a great fan of frogs and have many (living and statue) in my garden. I always know when Spring has arrived as a small tree frog just outside my window chirps away.

  17. What a cute froggy mosaic. When I was outside today the frogs were croaking in the woods behind our house. That is always a sure sign that Spring is almost here for sure!
