Camera Critters - Raiders of the Seeds

It doesn't matter how many times this gazebo bird feed is filled, there's always someone visiting to stuff their mouth.

The squirrels take turns working this feeder too until there's nothing left for my poor birds.  This is the only one that is open for four-legged critters though, the rest are all hanging and squirrel proof.

  3. Oh, I just love little chipmunks! I used to have one that came to my back steps every day for a visit for a couple of years! I even gave him his own food and water dishes! One time we sat there together, and he even got up the nerve to run up to me, touch the tip of my toes, then run back to the woodpile! He was so cute. Thanks for the memory! Hope your weekend is going well! ~karen

  5. LC: Neat shots of the Chipmunk and Black Squirrel. My deer also empty the feeders along with the Gray Squirrels.

  6. The chipmunk is SO cute! I have lots of feeders, too, but like you, only one is available to all visiters. Love this post.

  7. Great photos! We have to try to keep the raccoons from empyting our feeders.

  9. The squirrels in our garden are the sleekest in the neighbourhood since they feed royally on bird food. I'm quite happy with that - there's plenty to go round!

  10. WOW! I hardly ever see chipmunks out this time of year. The squirrels are everywhere, though, and love to hang around the feeders with black oil sunflower seeds.

  11. Hello!
I'm always enchanted by squirrels, they are funny and also sweet!
But that first shot is amazing, a different friend!
    Beautiful pictures, well done!

  12. An excellent camera critters post. I especially like the photo of the chipmunk. In yet another contrast between our areas this winter, there are not a lot of squirrels coming to the feeders as there usually is. I think it may be because there was a poor acorn crop last fall and they moved to other areas to find food.

  14. Great photos! I looked at your profile and we have something in common - we are both Master Gardeners. I do love my flowers and am anxiously awaiting spring...I wonder if my hellebores, crocus, muscari, snowdrops and scilla are alive down there, under all that snow cover. Hope springs eternal!
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a nice comment. I do so enjoy afternoon tea!
