Mosaic Monday - Winter

Winter is definitely here and although we haven't had a big snowfall in our part of Ontario for awhile, we know it will be coming.  Just a few photos from the back yard and one through the black iron arbour at the front.  The bird's nest is one I found in the fall on the sidewalk and placed in a lilac in the butterfly garden.
The shrub in the middle of the top row is my magnolia x loebneri 'Leonard Messel' growing quite happily in our zone 5a garden  with a northern exposure.

  1. I rather missed camera critters this week. But found some interesting things. The lavender is so cheery, with things being rather white out here!
